To think you can't go see a superhero movie now without a bloody comic encyclopedia ? (Spoilers for D&W)

I love Spidey and all that but just been to see Deadpool & wolverine and I enjoyed it but it felt like a quiz.

Felt like I should have watched both Deapool Films, every Xman film and the Loki series to get WTF was going on. I still have no clue who the 'Mad Max' types were and the references around that.
Had no idea Chris Evans was in a Fantastic four movie TWENTY years ago so was confused about that.

And I thought Vanessa was dead??

I feel like with Xmen joining Marvel, being bought by Disney, all the TV series... I just can't keep up.

While I loved it, I do have to agree! I have seen all of the films and series you mentioned (even Chris Evans in F4 🤣) and I was lost at times! I didn't know who Blade/Wesley Snipes was - that character totally passed me by!

I got Blade but feel like if I was at home I would have paused it 15 times to use Google 🤣

They have to create a movie that the super hardcore as well as casual movie fans can enjoy. The super hardcore will have read all the comic books as well so watching all the Fox and Marvel films won’t be enough.
