To watch Cissie and Ada to remind me of my Gran?

My Gran died 27 years ago. We were very close when I was growing up, and I still miss her.

She was a proper stereotypical working class Northern woman of that generation and almost exactly like Les Dawson as Ada. So I watch old clips of their routines to remind me of her - is that daft?

I love Cissy and Ada, they remind me of my gran too. I used to watched them with her and she would laugh until tears streamed down her face.🥲

I’ve been watching TikTok’s of Blanche and Deirdre from Corrie. My grandmother enjoyed watching coronation street and although she was nothing like Blanche that ‘old lady northern humour’ does make me smile and think of her.
