I have been frequently been seeing pics and reels from a colourist, their work appears to be really good. I messaged to day to ask if I could book for a consultation, only to be told that they’re not taking on new clients.

She isn’t advertising to gain new customers - she is showing people what she can do and keeping her social media relevant and up to date

Should she be able to take on new customers at any time people will recognise her name and work and she will fill slots really quickly

It’s sensible marketing
