I have asked before... I am now asking again... mumsnetters, what are you having for lunch?

I had white rice with curried lentils, spicy cabbage, and chutney. I wish I had some sweet treats in but I don't so will probably eat a spoon of jam.

@Mowyourlawn I’m always happy when I can put that lunch together from the fridge complete with the instant gravy.

spanish omelette, a large slice of ham, coleslaw, salad and half an avocado.

Open sandwiches - two slices of brown soda bread with butter topped with lettuce, ham, tomato, cucumber, red onion & hardboiled egg with salt & pepper & a small squeeze of kewpie mayo.

Sparking water with lemon slice..

Was really delicious!

Errr probably shouldn’t post mine as these are all healthy, mine is a sausage roll, bag of C&O crisps, Mars Bar and a Kit Kat Chunky! Suppose I could have a glass of water instead of the can of Sprite to even it out a bit

I've never really understood this. Food makes food smells. If someone is eating eggs in a restaurant or café, do you find that stinky? I get that an office isn't a café, but foods don't change from smelling fine to smelling bad just because they're in a different location! In any case, what smells nice or not comes down to personal preference.

I'm a teacher at a school where most teachers eat in the staffroom (where people work too) rather than the canteen. People eat eggs, fish, curry, all sorts!

Really bad today. We are both off. Husband fancied chippy chips with his pie we got in. So I ended up having a few on some brown bread. Was nice.

Fish finger sandwich!

A wrap with sliced ham, cheese, lettuce, radish, sweet red peppers and red onion and a bit of relish as well.

Rice cakes with smoked salmon
A pack of sugar snap peas
A pack of mini flapjacks

Cheese sandwich. CBA with anything else today. DD had Covid last week and I’m sure it’s my turn this week 🤦‍♀️ don’t even have enough energy to be jealous of all your lunches and cakes.

Butter beans and stir fry veg with couscous, both left overs.

House full of mildly grumpy DH and teens today and we've done a lot these last 2 weeks and they have a full fridge so I've taken an extended shopping trip to Take Something Back and now enjoying a leisurely solo Wagamamas.

Does it count if I had it for pudding after a main course of mushroom and onion soup (so essentially the lion's share of my dinner calories came from cake)?

That wrap is the best shop bought sandwich/wrap/ baguette/ any other bread product that I’ve ever had.

Same. It is. It's got red cabbage in and then mmm the katsu sauce is spot on
