All these EDL knuckleheads rioting in the streets is just terrorism? They're terrorists.

There were loads of Jewish people on the Pro Palestine Anti genocide marches. And in the main they were very peaceful.

I don't call this terrorism because it's already got a name. This is race or religious rioting. That's pretty fucking serious and the meaning already conveys much of what terrorism conveys.

People turning over Greggs and Lush aren't terrorists, they're criminals that are exploiting the overall situation. People fighting the police aren't terrorists, they're rioters.

There is some level of organiser that I would start to consider a terrorist, but they're most likely to go unpunished in the whole shit show anyway

Why would there be lists of towns/ cities, surely spontaneous protests riots make more sense, police will be waiting for them..not the sharpest are they...

I'm hardly oblivious to much in the town I was born in and have lived in for 55 years (which makes me Gen X and not a boomer, not that I like those terms but am just pre-empting any further assumptions). I have been community active and a business owner for the last 7 years.

The most recent murder was white on white. The stabbing before that was white on white.

Our town is very very diverse and usually pretty peaceful.

I mean if you want to discuss our corrupt council, our boarded up town centre and 101 other things that are absolutely unrelated to the subject at hand but reflect geopolitical and economic changes that are absolutely sod all to do with immigration of any sort I'll happily chew your ear off. But from direct lived experience we're not a hotbed of racially motivated violence either way.

100% this. This is rioting, attacking people with non white skin, setting fire to things including a hotel believed to be full of asylum seekers. It is designed to install fear and hatred, create division, and inflame others to join in. No way would this be called anything but terrorism if the people doing it were not white.

My brother in law is Spanish and works in a large uk city where they're expecting more terrorism from these thugs. He's been told to work from home because these racist idiots are very likely to attack him as soon as they see his appearance and hear a foreign accent.
