My dp has been working for the same company 18 months now through an agency. The issue is that he is regularly finding himself without enough holiday to cover bank holidays and periods when the company closes for summer break etc. He has to accrue at the start of his holiday year. It's making things tough financially as he has had the odd gp or hospital appointment he has had to take the odd day off for. I'm not sure if employees employed permanently in this company have to accrue like this. Is anybody clued up on this as I don't know of anybody else in this situation. I thought after 1st year of employment you can take the whole lot if you wish.
