Annoyed with dh

So yesterday I ended up shopping with my dad I am looking for a sofa bed. Dad said he would buy it I rang oh and told him the size of the bed and asked if it will fit. It's 7.6 he said the room is 9ft so ordered the bed.
Got home and oh has measured the size of the room not the gap in the room and it won't fit unless I get rid of the TV stand he says it's my fault as I didn't specify!
He does have a disability which can affect things like this but now I'm not sure what to do about it!

Cancel the order

I mean - it’s annoying but it’s also daft to go shopping for a sofa without measuring before you leave 🤷‍♀️

I don't see that your dh did anything wrong. He told you the room size. I think it's pretty cruel to blame this on disability.

I'm with dh I would have told you the width of the room

If it just a TV stand in the way what about putting the TV on the wall, that'll free up floor space.

You are not sure what to do about it? Well, you can either cancel the order or put the TV up on the wall. I assume you are not referring to not knowing what to do about your husband as there is nothing to be done

I did message him to say will it fit with the unit, I was originally buying a cheaper one online which I had measured and would have fit,but I took my dad shopping for a new mattress in the shop he pointed out a sofa bed, I said I couldn't afford it and he said he would pay the difference

No not what to do about dh, dh doesn't want me to cancel the order or to put the TV on the wall, but when asked for a solution he just shrugged at me.
Sofa bed is for eldest and son in law to sleep on when they come for the weekend at the end of the month so I think I will have to wait for them to come and start moving the whole room around, can't do it on my own and dh can't help.

Why are you taking direction from him when you are doing all of the work? Cancel it if it isn't suitable.
