To think if you're selling something you'd at least know the size?

We've been looking to buy some second hand bikes for our children.

There are loads for sale on marketplace, but I can't believe how many people don't put the size, when you message the people they don't know the size either.

We ended up just buying new but I'm really surprised as surely no one is going to buy a bicycle not knowing what size it is.

I agree with you. Maybe they don't know the exact size but in an advert could say suitable for a five year old orsomething similar.

Totally agree. If they don’t know the size they could use this magical thing called a tape measure to find out!! (Not sure putting age of child is much help as height can vary a lot.)

I had a similar complaint when I tried to buy jeans on Vinted. People rarely put the leg length. Why not?!

I'm always surprised how little information people put on listings on things like vinted and marketplace. Do they not want to sell it? Just hassle having to ask obvious questions.

silly isn't it? We used to buy and sell fine on eBay, searching on brands like Specialized and Giant, but times might have moved on.
