FGS what an idiot.

I'd tell him I wanted the cost of what it will be to replace the missing clothes.

How was NY by the way ?

HonoriaGlossop · 13/04/2008 17:38

How very strange! Where would the clothes be - were there other children there who you think they might have got mixed up with?

Or do you think your ex/MIL are making a statement on the way you dress your dd?

Since she had such a lovely time I guess it's not worth that much fuss over; next time get her a special holiday wardrobe from the cheapest of the cheap shops, you could probably do it for 20 quid

How weird

Glad you had a nice time though

LIZS · 13/04/2008 17:44

Can you speak to the gran herself, were other kids there who may have swapped , what does dd say ? tbh I'd never send the kids away with anything I'd be really upset to lose - h and m do jeans with adjustable waist much cheaper for example.

You sent the clothes, they lost them, they need to give you money to buy replacements. This is ridiculous.

NotABanana · 13/04/2008 19:10

Maybe Granny swapped your DD's good stuff for clothes that didn't fit/look as nice??

CarGirl · 13/04/2008 19:12

Could your ex be keeping them for his house so he doesn't have to buy her stuff?

CarGirl · 13/04/2008 19:13

could grannny be selling them on ebay!

dizzydixies · 13/04/2008 19:15

am sorry I know this is no laughing matter and you should be getting the same stuff back but

they went to dundee?!?!?!?!?!?!? in April?!? and they bought her a bikini

tis a wonder she came back at all

AND I'm a resident to am allowed to say it

NorthernLurker · 13/04/2008 19:24

hmmmmmmm - I think they washed them and knackered/lost them so had to replace as best they could. The clothes are filthy on purpose so the possibility of a laundry disaster won't occur to you.

NotABanana · 13/04/2008 19:30

NL - you are good!

NorthernLurker · 13/04/2008 20:26

or very devious and cunning

Do you think she got "new" clothes from charity shop and gave old ones to charity shop? A bit like swap this for that?
