Biden's own daughter has publicly spoken about his very questionable behaviour when she was a teenager and you can't deny all that weird shit and financial corruption with Hunter

*@Justcallmebebes similarly you really should stop propagating disgusting false accusations on the Internet.

CaveMum · 21/07/2024 20:41

For those who are interested, there will be a TRIP Emergency Pod in 35 minutes on YouTube.

Biden drops out
FindThatThing · 21/07/2024 20:41

Good riddance!
May Genocide Biden never know one day of peace, granted by the looks of him, he won’t be having many - but still.
May the thousands of children’s blood that are on his hands haunt him forever.
Scumbag.

FrogFreg · 21/07/2024 20:42

This thread is a lot more negative than I was expecting!

It’s been reported for quite a while that Biden was expected to pull out, they’ve been getting their ducks in order for weeks. This isn’t as “sudden” as it may appear.

Harris is a good speaker and - if she does her job right - would absolutely wipe the floor with trump in a debate.

Trump is now the oldest candidate in history. His most recent speech alone shows that he is absolutely off his rocker. He is a convicted felon. There is a heck of a lot of ammo there.

I see this as a real positive, and I’m excited to see what happens in the next few weeks!

saltinesandcoffeecups · 21/07/2024 20:42

At the end of the day Biden is irrelevant and after November (January) you won’t hear about him until he dies and his eulogy is all over the news.

If he lasts that long… I’m not sure he’ll hang on to office for that long.

I’m not sure I can find a more reputable source than her words written in a diary in her 20s.

But if you don’t believe her that’s ok.

Wow I can see you are determined not to read her actual words as an adult. They have been quoted to you above. You clearly just want to accuse someone of horrible things on the Internet and continue traumatizing his daughter, by doing so (again please read her quotes). Well done.

He was also pretty racist

Well, quoting your previous post, please post credible links of this that doesn't come from a left leaning media outlet!

Are you serious? This is credible reporting that a previous poster has just posted abovecthat came from his own daughter admitting it was true and genuine

TempestTost · 21/07/2024 20:46

What a mess. I don't know what the Democrats are thinking, or Biden's family.

I can only think he himself has a huge blind spot, and probably is not doing his best thinking. But others should have taken action.

I imagine it's too little too late though, and what is he thinking endorsing Harris of all people!? If his endorsement is to be effective at all it needs to be someone with a chance of getting votes. Endorsing Harris at best will divide Democrat voters when they need to be focused and united.

Even without the weird response to the assassination attempt, Trump was looking a little ahead, and I think his choice of VP has done him a lot of good. It cements the sense of him as the champion of the working class, pro-union, etc, and increases the perception, already established, of the Democrats as the urban, university elite, working mainly for the good of bankers.

If Harris has any smarts she will refuse to step forward.

FFS read her quotes as an adult, are you being purposely obtuse, or have you not read this thread?

Misspeak aside Snopes validated at least 1 quote

During a U.S. Senate debate on busing for racial desegregation in 1977, then-Sen. Joe Biden said, "Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle with tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point."

Be interesting to see if the Democrats turn the age card on Trump. It sounds mad but the narrative could be we reflected, recognised JB was too old, and they acted. Would be difficult for the R party to argue against given there’s only 4 years between them and, well, Trump is barely coherent at the best of times.

I am not being obtuse. You just have your head in the sand and refuse to believe what is right there in front of you. What more "evidence" do you need?

Again money… there are some election rules at play regarding PACs and the ability to transfer money donated to “Biden/Harris” to other candidates.

That and she has the VP title already.

I have to say, I think Biden was dumb, for many reasons to say that. But I don't know that it was racist as such. The fact is that many schools that forced integration had a lot of tensions and problems, and I don't think many of the parents were very happy about the environment of the schools for their kids. Whether you think the final result was worth it or not.

That being said- most of Bdien's racial credentials come from him being Obama's VP. Not from anything special about his own views or policies. He's been losing younger black male voters, and Hispanic voters, to Trump.

Yeah I wonder that too. Trump does come across as quite vital and full of life, when he goes into combative mode (which is most of
the time), and it also helps that he’s quite physically broad and imposing anyway, so he often comes across to me as younger than he actually is.

She wrote, herself, that she was confused about taking showers with her father when she was a teenager. I'm not sure how that can be misinterpreted.

She then admitted, as an adult, that those were her diaries and she did write that
