He sounds like a selfish twat.He was well enough to work full time and have sex to create children.I would roll him out of bed place the kids with him and go out for lunch with friends.Depression is not excuse for being a crap husband and Father.When he is upstairs don't do his laundry or cooking he will soon come downstairs when he is hungry.
