My DH's phone use chronically annoys me. Every second he isn't doing something in the morning he often whips his phone out, while I'm responding to the things that need doing and requests from the children.
He gets a nice bit of time in bed on his phone every morning while I'm downstairs making us tea and lunch, only to disappear into the bathroom the second the kids get up and need dressing.
I jokingly challenged him on his screen time this morning and he said he averages 3 hours a day! Mine is closer to 1.5 hours spread across a bit of news reading and WhatsApp. Even my own phone use time shocks me but I cannot believe he has another hour and a half on top. What I would do with another hour and a half in my life!
For context we have three young children and both have full time, busy jobs( so theoretically we have the same time "spare" throughout the day. I'm going to check there isn't some weird accidental inflation here (e.g. screen time being logged for listening to podcasts at work) but if there isn't, I feel that I should be a bit annoyed.
