Is this seriously who some people are rooting for? Any woman with children who thinks they would be safe from him should know that any man who is so nasty about one group of women, usually hates women full stop.

It's such a shame that he's sold his soul and holds some very dangerous views. I read the emails he sent to a transgender friend years ago and they were so caring, it's hard to reconcile them with the man he is now.

The man is totally odious, however, as a childless dog lady, I've seen similar comments about us on here and wider in society.
It is a shame that we appear to be so much of a threat to these types of men and it would be good if the people on this thread defending us, would do so on other threads about how strange/weird/selfish/lacking joy and love in our lives as well.

I'm no sympathiser with Andrea Leadsom but she answered a question about how being a parent equipped her for leadership. At no point did she suggest Teresa May was less fit for office due to not having kids. Blame appalling journalists and headlined writers for that one, not Leadsom.

Thiel and Musk have very anti democratic and authoritarian ideas, and had Vance installed as the VP (Trump likely agreed to this to get them to fund him) to further their own political causes. Most of their ideas would have very negative outcomes for average people.

JD Vance seems to have run through a fair few names too: according to Wikipedia. James David Vance was born James Donald Bowman, later known as James David Hamel and is now known as JD Vance.

JD Vance's name changes are more the result of his mother's serial marriages than anything more sinister.

I think Biden was always planning to drop out and give Harris the opportunity But I suspect they waited until Trump had chosen a poor VP, so now they can really hit him where it hurts.

Until Biden dropped out, Trumps whole campaign was "he's an old man, he can't do the job" (despite being only 3 years younger). Now they've got stuck with someone with no experience, and they can't use their entire planned campaign strategy.

Instead, they are now up against a prosecutor who might be selecting someone who used to work for NASA as her VP. It's fucking genius.

I also read somewhere (probably Reddit, so not sure how true it is) that Trump selected Vance because he was a favourite of Musk, and they wanted Musk to carry on donating to their campaign.

Us cat ladies are very much used to dealing with obstinate grumpy dictators. A very useful skill.
