To wonder what the hell has happened with my child’s sleep? Can’t cope suddenly

Ds slept 7-7 ish since 9 months. Suddenly at 20 months (last month), sleep has been awful in all respects. Won’t go down without masses of tears, wakes around 11pm and goes mad for around two hours. Mornings ok usually but have had increased times of him screaming the house down when he wakes up. I’m utterly miserable, why is this happening? It’s not teeth as he’s definitely not teething at the moment

The 2 year old sleep regression. It's a phase, most kids do it. Usually lasts a few months then they go back to normal.
