not sure what to do.. we're all just over horrible cold/temp virus in our house but we were supposed to be going to good friends house tonight for takeaway and drinks. Our kids were coming too to play and then we're all staying over. But my friend's texted last night to say her DD has cold/temp although she's texted this morning to say she is better although still snotty and mild temp.
Do I cancel/rearrange night (although prob won't be able to rearrange for weeks) or go and hope we don't pick up the bug?!!
I am so indecisive so what would you do?!!
thanks!

unless your DCs are very young/vulnerable i would go

a bit of snot is not too serious IMO

i;d go

children are constantly exposed to illness, and helps to build up immunity

unless you or your DCs are immuno-comrpomised or could be made very unwell by a cold or fever, then go.

Another vote for going - unless you get the feeling your friend would rather reschedule as her DD is going to be cross and whiny and hard to settle.
