Actual last day.

I think this is one only you can decide.
But.
It’s not her last day.
The key worker will surely be busy with other things organising this “graduation”.
A “graduation” is a celebration for the children not the keyworkers.
So I can’t think of a single reason why you’d do it then instead of her actual last day.

Whenever you want to. There is no rule or etiquette to this to worry about

What is a nursery graduation? I know they leave nursery at some point, but didn't realise it was a thing? Personally, if I was giving a present, I would do it in the last week, but not necessarily the last day. DS has been unwell at the end of a summer term before and missed his last day.

Edited

It isn't a thing I'm sure you have seen it on Facebook etc ,it's just kids leaving nursery but they wear caps and gowns ,
To look cutsey

Last day would be more appreciated I think and you risk it seeming like a present for graduation day alone. Enjoy the graduation

We are doing ours on last day which is 16 August, graduation is tomorrow. A lot of the kids are term time only so finish this week, but DD is in for another 4.5 weeks.

@WiseBiscuit yes probably will have to do it last day or day before . Also do u only give smth to key worker or all the workers ? I love all of them so feel weird to just give one . I used to give a bag of goodies at the end of a year for all of them together but because her key workers was constantly changing, but now she have one for long time now . So don't know what to do

Again, there is no rule or etiquette here to worry about. Buy a little something for all of them of you want to, get something just her key worker, don't get anything at all. All options are fine and you can just do whatever you want.

Ours is a small setting, only 4 staff so we buy for all 4.

We were at a larger setting previously and we only bought for staff in her room. But not just her key worker as she was actually closer to several other staff and it was more like a big family. The key worker did the observations but day to day she spent as much time with the others.

There’s no right or wrong though. We do a handmade card for each which I think they like more than the actual gift.
