I will try and make this brief, I bought a Dell laptop in January, it was a special offer so didnt cost too much. When it arrived it wouldnt stay or sometimes just wouldnt connect to the internet, tried lots of solutions. Eventually (march) an engineer put a new modem in, still didnt work. Dell agreed that vista has problems with dial up sometimes and as we cant get broadband, they agreed to send a new computer with xp on.
That was early march. its now mid april and the new one hasnt arrived, I spent most of last and this week on the phone. at one point the dell man said it had been returned to the depot to be scanned for damage, why? he could offer no explanation. for days they have said yes it will be delivered tomorrow. then 2 days ago, they said the courier has lost it and they need to start an investigation.
What do I do now ?
