Is your school allowing children to come in late on Monday because of the football?

I've had an email today saying that primary dc can go in late on Monday if they are staying up to watch the football on Sunday night. They are usually really strict on punctuality and how much they miss by being just 5 minutes late but they have said that being 90 minutes late won't cause them to miss any lesson time!
I recall this for something last year too.
Is your school doing this? Is your child sleeping in on Monday morning after the late night watching football?
I'm not into football at all so I might be biased against this.
Aibu to think that schools shouldn't adjust the school day timings to allow for late nights to watch sport?

Lots of children at the school I work in stayed up late on Wed night for the last match. On Thursday, I had children in tears, one asleep in the book corner, lots of friendship problems and a fight. That was just my class. There were many other issues throughout the school. Sleep deprivation really affects children. They are all already tired at this time of year and unsettled due to the upcoming changes anyway. If you are letting your young children stay up late (and if you and they are football fans then why not), I would recommend that you keep them off all day on Monday. It won't be for my benefit. I will be in and working as usual. It will be for their benefit.

I didn't even know this was a thing. I wasn't allowed to drop my son off late without his attendance dropping to get my brother to hospital for a big operation. This seems really daft. I've been letting my 5yo stay up late for all the England matches. Bit tired the next day but nothing an early night won't sort out. And I'm a big football fan!
