To be FED UP that my bank has just sent my tax credits to the inland revenue FFS

After the fuss and performance of actually getting my tax credits sorted out, i checked my bank account to make sure the money had actually gone in. Only one of the payments gone in. So ring tax credits people (i have their number on speed dial - no really) to find out that my bank is the only bank that wont accept third party payments. IE: The money being paid to my partner (he is the working party) but into my account. I didnt want to pay it into his accounts because they are always overdrawn and i didnt want the money being spent on anythning other than the mortgage (well some of the mortgage). So now i either have to try and open another account, but thats not straightforward because i have a bad credit rating and i dont officially exist as i dont have a valid passport, or have to have the payments made by giro. Fecking nightmare. I honestly am just soooooooooo stressed out right now that i might have to strangle the dog (who's coat is on a shakey nail on account of him digging up my seeds ).

COuldn't you have it set up to go to your partner and then have a standing order set up to transfer the money to your account every week/month?

V. annoying I agree.

daren't do that daisy incase he doesnt have the money in his account so would face bank charges. I'm sure we will sort it out, but why cant anything ever be sodding simple.
