Ds was off school with a headache on Monday, no temperature. Felt well enough to go to school yesterday. But last night before bed temp was 37.7, this morning on waking it is 37 but expect it to increase when he gets moving.

Dilemma is, ds is supposed to be going to a theme park with school today. Not expected home until 7.30pm. He's 15 years old so I can trust him to take paracetamol and ibuprofen responsibly. He's desperate to go - would you let him with a low fever?

Aibu - keep him in bed
Ainbu - let him go!

Definitely let him go, dose up on painkillers. It'd be sad for him to miss out, doubt they'll go again. And imagine how sad he'll feel if he doesn't go and feels fine all day

You took a 15 year olds temperature because he had a headache and now that he has a normal temperature you want him to miss the theme park trip?

Fucking hell 🤣

I would let him go and hope he doesn't puke on anyone in front of him on the rides!

See how he feels and let him decide.

I think it might be a bit late now @DragonGypsyDoris 🤣
