May I vote for an end of people telling other people to not "overthink" things?

I'm so sick of this patronizing expression.

I get the idea - let's make a decision and move on.

But it's been used to me when I have been simply trying to look at the detail of an issue - not to waste time but to give a decision its proper attention.

When people say it now they immediately fall in my estimation. Can't be arsed to look at the detail!
