To ask if anyone else went through puberty on the early side, but had small breasts all the way through to adulthood?

Every single time I hear someone say she went through puberty at a relatively young age, the story involves something about being busty - “I was wearing a C cup at age eleven,” or something like that. I went through puberty on the young side - adult amount of hair “down there” at age ten, period when I was eleven - but I was an A cup from age twelve all the way to when I had my first baby at 28. (Now a B cup and kind of miss the As, TBH.)

Did anyone else have a similar experience? Is this unusual? I swear, I’ve never heard of anyone else this happened to. My older daughter is nearly ten and I’m not sure what to expect if she goes through puberty young like I did.

I'm the same! They appeared overnight and then never really got any bigger. I'm fine with it. Large breasts seem like a hassle.

Yeah, mine were AA for maybe a year and then went to A and that was it. It was really undramatic for me; my clothes still fit and no one stared at my chest. Ugh, I miss not having to wear a bra in structured tops…

Conversely I went through puberty quite late; 15 and went from flat chested to a 30G in what seemed like a week. Bloody awful and you couldn't buy big bras back then.

They shrank after kids - although I'm pregnant and they're bloody whoppers again 😂

I went through puberty early. First pubic hair at 8. First period at 9.5. These days I guess I would have seen a Dr about delaying it. Anyway, yeah I believe I am a short arse in part because of it (stopped growing by age 12) and when I'm not massively overweight, I'm flat as a pancake in the chest department.

Only time I had much at all was late pregnancy, but even currently (I'm obese) I am an A cup. Verrrrrry difficult to get bras without paying megabucks as I am broad, plus, you know, back fat etc.

First period at 11 and as flat chested as ever. A cup even after 1 kid. The only time I really had a chest were the first few months of breastfeeding.

I started my periods age 6.. l was given medication to stop.. then started again age 9.
So very early .
By age 10 l got my first bra.
Always been very very big busted..
I still am age 66.. I'm a 46 H cup.
My eldest sister was 17 when she started and always had very small breasts..
So l don't think there is any connection .

I’m the same. I started puberty at 9 and my breast were probably fully developed (but an A cup) at 12 or 13. Still the same size!

Early puberty and big boobs. Not sure there is a correlation though. My boobs came before my periods so maybe that’s the false equation some women make

Chickenuggetsticks · 09/07/2024 20:13

I onnly got to a c cup by being very fat, started periods at 11 and was basically a b cup.

Oh wow I was the same and I’m 4’10 and started my period at 9.
I always said I stopped growing aged 10, my feet are children’s size 13 and my bra size is 32A.

I am overweight at 9 stone 7 but I don’t eat much and exercise, my ideal weight is 7 stone 3 and as i’m getting older I can’t maintain it.

It makes sense that due to hormones that I actually did stop growing early, I never really considered it before.

Now I’m going through early menopause which is depressing.

Early puberty, normally a B cup

telestrations · 09/07/2024 22:43

I had my period at 11 and have always been an A cup. Likely a B now pregnant

Menora · 09/07/2024 22:52

I had my period at age 11 and never had big boobs, max a B cup.

However, about 5 years ago in my late 30’s I put on quite a lot of weight rapidly and ended up having to have a hysterectomy due to wild hormones and ever since then they have been huge (to me) though I have lost all the weight for the first time ever they didn’t shrink back much which surprised me.

I was always about 32B younger
then I was 38B when I was larger and pregnant
all through my 20’s and 30’s a 36B
Then late 30’s during wild hormone period I went up to 38DD
Now they are 34D. I have no idea why.

my daughters are both A cups and tiny, size 6 clothes, size 2 feet and 5ft tall. They stopped growing when they were about 12-13 as I never had to get them new school uniform in bigger sizes unless it wore out and they now still have PJ’s from when they were that age that still fit them in their 20’s
