does anyone know what this bug is? It’s tiny it’s a very zoomed in photo. I don’t think they can fly although we do have lots of flies too

we have just moved into a new house and they are inside all the kitchen cupboards dead and alive and I clean them all away and more alive ones keep coming back!

trying to book pest control but no idea what they are and we have 3 small children

cannanyone help? Feeling very deflated.

Not sure but get Indorex and spray everywhere and in particular in damp dark cracks & crevices, I doubt they would be harmful to your children.

I'd say just get pest control in - you don't need to know what they are. I find local companies faster and cheaper than Rentokil. It looks like an earwig.

Could be earwigs?

Pest control seem to want to know what the bug is before you book. It looks like if you don’t know they can come and inspect but wondering if that means they can’t treat at the same time?

im not sure how then previous people lived like this!

This thought did cross my mind but I don’t think they are. I have been googling but can’t seem to identify the little bastards.

might have to invest in a bottle of wine at this point 🤣

Thanks will try this while we try and sort pest control. No I doubt they are harmful but don’t want them getting into all our food xx

But it does really look like an earwig.

I'd just say to pest control they look like earwigs- and maybe send them your photo. Seems weird they won't just come out and look - they're going to charge you anyway, the whole point is they're the experts but you're not.
