Does anyone have experience of this? Suspect my Dd of having it, Drs tomorrow, what should I be asking for? Which tests should I ask for and what should I ask for her to be prescribed?
With regards to today, should I give her Ibuprofen today to help with inflammation? She’s very constipated too, so trying to treat that.
Have asked to join some Fb support groups and waiting to be accepted.

Do you mean Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal infection? Or something else? I’m not sure that’s something you can really self diagnose. Why do you think they have this? If your child has sudden onset severe behavioural change that you think has been triggered by an infection I’d take them to A&E rather than wait till tomorrow. Apologies if I’ve misunderstood what you’re worried about

There is an excellent Facebook group you should join, it has all of this information in leaflet form you can print out. It's called PANS PANDAS UK support group .

Screenshot of website for those it might be helpful to.

OP you haven’t mentioned if your child’s medical history or previous consultations. You don’t have to of course, but I wonder if other more common conditions have been ruled out already by GP or secondary care services?
if not then in your position you might expect the GP to do that first?

if you have had other consultations leading you and professionals to think your dc has one of these conditions, then it’s likely the GP will have a letter from them recommending next steps.

in terms of management of dc’s health today, if they are experiencing pain or inflammation then why not give pain relief as you mention?
if you need medical help today perhaps contact 111.
