Short but brief!

Really pleased that Labour are set to get a landslide!!! Wiping the Tories out!

However just seen that reform party are set to win 13 seats!

Green party projected to only get 2!!
SNP- 10

Really hopeful but worrying!!!

I'm about to go to bed. It still confuses me! How are votes turned into seat? Is it x amount of votes = 1 seat? Then the most seats wins the election?

Doingtheboxerbeat · 05/07/2024 01:13

The Greens could have been a brilliant protest vote, but no Reform had to be it , because of ....reasons....🙄
I don't like it.

Whoever gets the most votes in a constituency wins that constituency, ie they win that seat. E.g. in Sunderland south Labour got 18k votes, more than any other party, so that is one seat.

I think it's an excuse to say people vote reform out of protest. As you said no one ever votes green as protest. I think the people who vote for reform actually agree with their policies. 😔

Greens were awful to be fair , there policies made no sense and just the month before their manifesto they had completely different ideas about meat rationing and c sections being banned.

Not trying to cast aspersions but I doubt most of the reform voters give a 💩 about any of that to be fair.

Well reform have 5 seats which is nowhere near as bad but to think over 4 million people voted for them is a little scary. I think more people voted for them than Liberal Democrats.
