Don’t do names if you don’t want to or if not allowed but I want to know all tea on the weird posts that you have read even multiple posts if a few ops have written a series of weird or crazy posts.

OP posts:
TwattyMcFuckFace · 03/07/2024 00:00

Most of the weirdest posts I can think of turned out to be trolls, or they got put in Classics but I still think they're bullshit, even though the masses were lapping them up 😁

I do remember an avid Relationships poster saying she had a 'Mumsnet phone', so she could message her number to people who she thought needed her 'help'.

That was bloody weird.

The weirdest, and the best, are the sea creatures ones and others in the same style. I only had the pleasure of 3 of them but I think there were others that kept being deleted.
I can admire such a unique and quirky personality.

FeelingHotHotHotFeelingHotHotHot · 03/07/2024 00:03

Oh ha ha, Yikes! I mentioned a certain name, (on a post at 00.01,) and the post has instantly been hidden. It was a name that a certain returning 'person' keeps mentioning in a big yarn she keeps repeating! I won't mention it again!

TheShellBeach · 03/07/2024 00:04

Those utterly pointless posts about leaves and nostalgia.

FeelingHotHotHotFeelingHotHotHot · 03/07/2024 00:04

Yes and the serpents!

Beginning with A and mentioning a hotel?

Yes. 😂 I said HIS name/the hotel etc, and the post was hidden! MN must auto-hide anything with HIS name in now!

TheShellBeach · 03/07/2024 00:07

There's a poster ATM who has just had a baby, and she keeps writing obsessive posts about getting her figure back. Never mentions the poor baby.
She name changes too, but it's always obvious that it's her.

Good.
Those posts were a headfuck.

ScottBakula · 03/07/2024 00:10

"Someone is having sex in my hedge" ( or words to that effect ) .
The thread developed over a few weeks and was very funny . I think it's in classics.

"Kids chalking on my drive" the op was outraged that kids had chalked on her drive . I think that's in classics too.

DumbassHamsterSitterPerson · 03/07/2024 00:10

I remember one years and years ago. The OP had some kind of issue with her neighbour, apparently the neighbour kept walking past the end of her driveway or something. Turned out OP lived in a cul-de-sac and there was no way for the neighbour to get in and out without passing her house.

I don't think anyone ever got to the bottom of what the issue actually was.

A troll who mentions a cartoon character and pretends she's having an affair with him.

I saw this being talked about from time to time but never go to actually experience it. But then I finally did get to see one of the posts before it was deleted 😃 Very crazy

TheDogdidGood · 03/07/2024 00:18

I still wonder about the lady who posted about her neighbour washing black bin liners and hanging them out to dry. We never ever found out why!

OiFatArse · 03/07/2024 00:51

I can't for the life of me remember the OP name but she was very "famous" on here , multiple children , and dads , very chaotic life , I remember joining Mumsnet and this woman would post daily until she got banned , she wasn't a troll but in need of help but her posts triggered a lot of concern. I do hope she is ok!

ScottBakula · 03/07/2024 00:52

@TheDogdidGood , oh heck I bet my neighbours talk about me , I use little zip lock for my lunch and wash and reuse them .
I hang them on my sockpuss on the washing line .
I dislike single use plastic but this is the easiest way for me to batch cook a load of food , freeze it without it taking up loads of space .

I adore people like you - my friends think I'm weird for mopping up stains with a cloth that can be chucked in the washing machine, rather than using a wipe. I mean I don't judge them, but I hate to waste stuff and I don't think it's too much work.

Mothership4two · 03/07/2024 02:00
  1. strange mobile phone found in rural garden (near house), 2) wet patch (wee) mysteriously appearing on work chair but not OP's, 3) OP regularly hearing dragging noises coming from downstairs during the night, 4) colleague telling OP a mutual colleague had died when they hadn't, and quite a few spooky ones

I remember her!! Can't think of her name though wasn't it something with ghost in it? God knows

fatnurseandmum · 03/07/2024 02:13

Does anyone here remember the guy who said his wife was dying and then sadly had died? He had a little boy, he talked a lot about how to support the son etc and lots of MNetters gave financial support and the whole thing was a massive scam!

SplendidUtterly · 03/07/2024 02:24

There is a poster who comes across as extremely eccentric and troubled. Tells VERRRY bizarre stories about her life and family situation. I am still undecided if it's genuine or not.🤔
