To think that pulling net curtains into the middle of the window and then tying them into a knot is never a good look?

My new neighbour keeps doing it, I want to knock on the door and ask her to come across to my side of the street and see if she thinks it looks nice.

when we moved into our house 10 years ago the old giffers who we bought it from had decorated the bathroom with lino ON THE WALLS. And, had kindly left us the curtains - that were made from TOWELS.

And don't even get me started on the polystyrene ceiling tiles everywhere else

Seriously though, I'd like to have these up instead of nets.

As for the washing up bowls - I've got one as we have a huge butler sink and I can't see any reason to fill up my sink. Also, once I've finished washing up, I take the bowl out of the sink.

I know a couple of people who have stapled their curtains to the top of their window.

My previous neighbour used to have nets exactly the same size as the window.

I thought you were supposed to have double the width to make curtains look full. Hers were stretched to fit.

wtf is wrong with washing up bowls????? you lot are complete snobs, and should be ashamed. mind you i hate nets, ornaments that look onto the street, fake flowers, plastic string curtains with hideous palm tree designs on them, lladros, china doll face things that people put on the walls, fans on walls, dog ornaments inside or out, (my nieghbour had one in her garden, and me and my daughter are considering taking it for a long long walk!!!!
so maybe im a house snob also!!
ps, also hate patterned tiles with fruit on, and such like, totally vomit!!

My MIL loves putting plastic flowers in the garden.
