I find text speak more difficult - people who use it are morons

i am clearly too old.
if someone types in text speak it takes me ages to decipher it (even longer that it takes to read Cod's posts)

I judge them.

I read the post and think that they are clearly a 14 year old on the half term.
or worse, i imagine them to have greasy hair, missing teeth and living in a caravan.

I know it is irrational. i know i am miss judgy of judgyness but i can't help it.

Hmmmm... puzzled as to why the judging part of the OP hasn't been objected to. The stereotypical socioeconomic status of imagined poster doesn't mean they should be deemed less valid to the site or that they are less welcome\entitled to use the site... snobs

I'm really, really poor... always have been but reasonably well educated, I guess I'm just lucky

What if a poster can only spell in txt spk - are MNers just going to ignore them??

I'm not being completely serious - but would be horrible if we all turned into snobs on here
