Help with Hyde Park tickets

Only posting here for traffic.

I purchased tickets for my son and 3 mates for Sunday in Hyde Park via PayPal. Today I got an offer to upgrade to Golden Circle at fraction of normal cost which I have - again via PayPal.

These automatically went into my name (both has same surname).

I called to see if he will have any issues collecting them as as now in my name and you need to go to box office to collect upgraded tickets - guy was very helpful and said he would email for advice and call em back (this was 12am).

Any help, tried the AXS site but it just keep pushing me back to filling in form and it can take 3 days to answer.

If they are available in axs app you should just be able to transfer to him. He will need to create his own axs account.

They are upgraded tickets which can only be collected along with original at the box office as per the email.

Just wondering what the outcome was for this. As we have the same issue.

We had this issue last year when my daughter needed to collect an upgrade from the box office at BST that was in my name. She basically had to beg the box office person who eventually gave in (she showed her ID but obviously it didn't match the purchaser). Better to give your son the card it was bought with or your ID as proof to make collection easier.

Thanks @Mybestusername. That's helpful. I'll do that and keep 🤞

So I gave him my driving licence, bank card (although I'd paid with PayPal). A photocopy of his birth certificate to prove related. Made contact every possible way before the event with not much help.

He got the tickets, they said his ID and my DL was enough and he had a ball.

Forgot to say. He did have to create a AXS account and I transferred the initial tickets to his account.
