It really annoys me! It’s just not needed.

Disingenuous = Lying

Disingenuous isn't the same as lying, its more wide eyed faux naivete about something that a moderately intelligent or well informed adult ought to be clued up about, eg "why is it so controversial to say women don't have penis'"? or "I don't see why so many people think Nigel Farage is racist, he seems quite a nice chap" or "surely SEN kids get lots of targeted and timely 1-2-1 help in schools as we live in 21st C UK".

Why
