To ask for Gin drinkers to recommend a mixer for Japanese Plum and sansho pepper gin?

DS loves a gin, just bought him the above flavour for his birthday and was going to pick up a pack of mixers to go with it but I have no idea what would be nice. just plain tonic or something else?

I don't really drink much and never gin, but he likes unusual flavours (in alcohol anyway, won't let a carrot or broccoli taint his palate 😁)

Anyone have any recommendations?

I would definitely go plain tonic with that.

Cucumber tonic would be nice

Ta both, he has plenty of the little cans of plain fever tree in the fridge and some pomelo and pink pepper so maybe some cucumber would be nice.

I almost bought black cherry but this one sounded a bit different for him to try.

He is an adult btw, just in case anyone thought he was about 9.
