We have recently moved into a small flat, all one level. DH thinks it's OK to bring friends over to show around without prior warning. I think it is courtesy to give me the heads up.
One occasion we had freshly laundered underwear on the bed, which his friend saw. I was very embarrassed. My DH admitted he was over-enthusiastic showing his friend the bedroom and in fairness hasn't done this again. AIBU that I would like him to give me the heads up before bringing people over?

At least it was clean underwear, it could have been worse... Why were you very embarrassed by someone seeing laundry on the bed? So what if it was underwear, we all wear it!!

Having said that though, I would prefer a heads up if my partner was planning on bringing someone round for a tour.

I don't understand why he's 'showing people round'??

Surely his mates come to visit him, not the flat?
