So we have young kids, I want to return to France next year for our third holiday as it really meets all our needs, we can drive, camp & I love the food & culture.. From an educational point of view I think our kids can soak up the culture, language, reading menus etc & it will stand to them.
Dh thinks it would be better as a family to visit different countries for our big holiday every year. The kids love France but don't care where we go!

I see what you're saying op in that they'll get chance to thoroughly know the area, but I think I'm with your husband. Mix it up every year, try new experiences and you might just fimd something else you love. Even if you don't want to go too far, you've still plenty of countries to pick fro.

I agree with your DH. Of course return to France every so often if you love it, but I think it's important to explore new places and cultures. If you're able to travel abroad, how lovely for your children to visit different countries, rather than just France every year.
