Lymph nodes

Hi, I just have a quick question for all, can you feel your lymph nodes? It is normal for them to be big enough to feel? Around 10 days ago I noticed a bean sized bump towards the back of my neck only one on the left side. Oddly shaped so I contacted the doctor, I have an appointment next Wednesday. I've not been unwell or anything so I guessed it was slightly strange. But reading up apparently it can be normal too? I'm very good at talking myself out of things and putting it down to me being a drama queen. You think I'm being over dramatic? Honestly i feel normal other than a little achey the past few days in the abdomen and pelvis but not even enough to need pain relief.

I think you've been very sensible.

Yes, they can be entirely innocuous, and the odds are, this is. But v sensible to get it checked out in the absence of any recent illness.

You can get raised lymph nodes even if you've got a patch of Eczema, say, behind your ear.

Hope the appt goes well.

I had similar, got them checked and everything was fine. Now I notice them swelling occasionally, usually a few days before I get bug/cold etc
