How will you manage that? Will you never go out?
Wouldn't it be better to just take a cot sheet or something with you to put down?

nametaken · 08/04/2008 14:30

I thought cocaine was white flubub. All I can see in the picture is dirt.

geordieminx · 08/04/2008 14:31

Unfortunately it doesnt surprise me at all - most high chairs are scruffy as hell these days too

Febes · 08/04/2008 14:31

I saw that on the news. How minging!!!

nametaken · 08/04/2008 14:32

SORRY

yes now I get it. Oh, dear, take one of these disposable changing mats with you every time you go out.

NomDePlume · 08/04/2008 14:32

the brown stuff is dirt. The report is not just about coke, it is about bacteria and poorly maintained facilities

NomDePlume · 08/04/2008 14:32

i can;t believe people are surprised by this

MrsBadger · 08/04/2008 14:32

take a change mat like normal people?

MrsBadger · 08/04/2008 14:33

NdP you are right

Newsflash: Toilets Are Dirty

southeastastra · 08/04/2008 14:33

wouldn't take much for these companies to keep these clean though would it.

Oliveoil · 08/04/2008 14:34

well when I used to change dd1 and dd2 their skin didn't touch the mat

take of pants, undo nappy, wipe bottom

lift up legs remove dirty nappy, put on clean one, legs down, done

Monkeybird · 08/04/2008 14:34

rock and roll!

sweetbean · 08/04/2008 14:34

Gross!! but then again i never use thoughts facilities as im a clean freak !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lulumama · 08/04/2008 14:35

well, you;d better get used to never leaving the house until your DCs are fully toilet trained !!

or take a change mat, anti bac wipes and hand gel

FruitfulOfFruit · 08/04/2008 14:35

Can't you just change them in the pram? Or on your lap? Or on a muslin? Or in the car boot?

Although I did get a very odd look from a passer-by once when loading dd into the boot of my car. .

geordieminx · 08/04/2008 14:35

Would never think about changin ds at a petrol station - would just use boot of car or back seat... Boots/John Lewis and the like are usually the best.

Most toilets in Glasgow and the North east have UV lighting in them now to deter heroin users from injecting themselves in there.

Flubdub · 08/04/2008 14:36

MrsBadger - I wasnt being entirely seious.

I knew they were dirty, but cocaine ?

OP posts:
Flubdub · 08/04/2008 14:37

Oh bloody hell, I didnt mean it! My ds is three, I dont even use the changing rooms, but my ds (due in 3 weeks) will need changing.
I never used the changing rooms with ds, it usually was the boot!

OP posts:
CrackerOfNuts · 08/04/2008 14:38

I always either used my own mat or, don't most changing rooms have a dispenser where you can tear off a big sheet like kitchen roll ?

CoteDAzur · 08/04/2008 14:39

Can't watch that video. Press play and nothing happens.

Picture doesn't look like cocaine, though. It looks like dirt on the inside of the basin. Bits of cocaine could be left on smooth surfaces but not under curved surfaces and certainly not in wet areas like this.

Looks like dirt to me.

Flubdub · 08/04/2008 14:39

Some do, but a lot dont.
Was shocked at the bottle warmers although Iv never used one, I certainly wouldnt be using those!

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 08/04/2008 14:40

pfft - something like 90% of all paper money in the UK bears traces of cocaine.
IIRC it's because it doesn't break down over time like other drugs that it shows up so often...

How would UV lighting deter heroin users? Just curious.

southeastastra · 08/04/2008 14:41

alot of people do use them though, no wonder we have trouble with mrsa and stuff like.
