Neighbours moving out and tried to hide busted fence

So next door neighbours who are in the process of moving out have broken the fence between our gardens… their kid has been kicking a giant beach ball off the fence despite being told not to, and yesterday the ball ended up in our garden. I found part of the wood in the fence was broken open and they had pushed a black inflatable couch up against the fence stopping it from falling apart completely.

I've texted them without response and have gone round to the house but they only pop in and out now so not sure if I'll be able to catch them. Anyways they’re leaving soon and they’ve never been the type to care in the past, it’s not the first time they’ve damaged things in our garden and shied away from doing anything about it. I honestly think they don't see it as their problem and will just try to duck this one too until they've moved out.

They're moving out. Rejoice!

Whose fence is it? If it’s theirs, they’re not obliged to replace it.

A giant beach ball shouldn't damage a solid fence.
Was your fence rotting?

Be glad they are moving out.
