So at a busy junction today, outside aldi, turning to my left. A car had slowed down to my right and was indicating to turn in. So pulled out, as anyone would do. But the silly women changed her mind and kept going. I was inches away from a collision. What a bloody fright. She must have changed her mind and went to Morrisons instead. She didn’t even say sorry, she shouted as if it was my fault. Insurance purposes it would have been my fault if we had crashed. But Jesus come on!! Why don’t people own up to their mistakes

Yes, it was half her fault. Giving misleading signals confuses other drivers.

The other half is for OP for not anticipating people do change their minds about turning.

It wasn't half her fault. It was completely the OP's fault

Highway Code Rule 1044*

You should also
watch out for signals given by other road users and proceed only when you are satisfied that it is safe
be aware that an indicator on another vehicle may not have been cancelled.

She did not proceed only when she was satisfied that it was safe instead pulled out in front of the other car.

I never trust an indicator.
