My 5yo has just got into scooby doo and was watching it on itv this morning.

there was a scene where they go to Daphne‘s house and wake her up… for her to get out of bed and walk around like this?

I just thought it was… weird? Weird enough for both DH and I to comment on it. I don’t remember it being like this.

I am generally not very pearl clutchy and it’s not like I’m going to do anything about it. I guess because it just looked a bit teddy like it took us by surprise… Especially for itv kids first thing in the morning!

Scooby Doo has gotten weirdly sexual in recent years, especially the Mystery Incorporated show.

Release the hand from them pearls....It's a cartoon and shes wearing a nightie/PJ's.

It's not as though shes wearing a skimpy thong and nipple tassels.

Yeh I agree that’s a bit much for a kids to show. Funny my child has been watching kids shows from 90s recently and I’ve noticed a lot of the adult female characters (eg superheroes and villains)are very sexualised , talking in sexy voices etc. I obviously didn’t notice this when I was a kid.
