I've read many of these stories but recent days there has been a massive up-tick in them

Why can't Cameron keep his trap closed?? I'm sure what he says has been approved by Sunak and Co

IMO, there is no need for our weapons to be used to hit proper Russian soil as itmay just result in us, our troops being hit and you know what will happen next

AIBU wants to stop our gov from allowing to use our missiles directly against Russia??

Putin see's us as the weak link and is aware the "all for one and one for all" NATO stance would not materialise if he took out an oil platform etc that belonged to Brtiain

Putin has let slip other red lines but IMO, not this one as it will open the flood gates to other western countries saying the same and Russia being directly hit more often will risk his leadership even further

Vlad's threat to strike Britain ‘ANYWHERE’ after UK supply arms to Kyiv

VLADIMIR Putin has threatened to strike British targets “anywhere” if UK weapons are launched into Russia by Ukraine. The Russian president has issued the terrifying threat amid growing…

Yabu for paying any attention to Putins empty threats.

Yes yabu

Putin threatens stuff all the time. It's the job of the government to work out what's likely to happen and what isn't.

We're giving Ukraine a lot less suppprt than other countries. France, the US etc. TikTok is not a serious political platform.

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 08/06/2024 12:36

I don’t trust the Tories one but, but putin is all mouth no trousers with his threats to the West.

If you study his playbook at all, he is much more likely to attach when he sees weakness from the West. He backs off when faced with strength.

What has contributed to Putin's arrogance and increasing aggression has been years of appeasement from the west. Ukraine is paying the price for that mistake.

That's how algorithms work. You look at content that interests you and it shows you more and more of it.

I haven't seen anything - my algorithms are showing me stressed parents and deep cleaning videos.

Absolutely. Russia need to be on the end of more Western missiles fired by the Ukrainians, not less. Its all Putin responds to.

I just wished that was true and I actually felt like that when there was chatter he was going to invade Ukraine

I have been hoping that his own people would take care of him/Putin but I guess they are all scared

IMO, rather than shout about it, do it quietly

I agree but the situation in Ukraine is/was there were a mass of mentions between Russian speaking Russians and the people of Ukraine.

I also read that the west interfered with Ukraines elections and the USA had people over there, I think they were Senetaros but am ready to stand corrected

Often wars are caused by cowards who talk big and are prepared to put other peoples lives at risk and stay far away from the battle lines hiding in their bunkers or knowing they have bunkers

I bet you if any leader, all leaders were told - go to the front line and take your mates and fight it out - we would not have many wars

Weak leaders create and dewell on wars especially nearing election periods and when they feel under threat
