Not really sure if it's am I being unreasonable but gathered it might get enough attention.

So my and a couple of friends are in the pta. It is a living hell. Daily. Today we were bitched at for being a single parents and not pulling our weight.But it has always been known that I am a single parent with no support. Summer planning is happening last minute as always, and now friends and I are being told how to live our lives and look after our children, because we seem not so committed now because we all have things that keep cropping up and making us less available. To we just tell them to stick it and resign, get the school to help us? Chair is known for upsetting others but seems to be like the golden child somehow

Sounds awful op. Im on a pta and ours is not like that at all. Why dont you say you need to pull back, youve taken too much on, your only available adhoc to help at events/marshalling. They will have to like it or lump it 🫢

@CannotWaitToBeFree no I know not every pta is like this. Just my luck to end up on one of the ones you read about. I have thought about stepping back a bit, but it's just sods law every thing is happening to us all at once. Two of us are pretty close and will help each other out and I will help the other lady where possible. But just the way that we are all spoken tand keep getting reminded we voted for this and that..... But things are changed without us knowing. The chair is an outright liar too 🙄

@thistimelastweek definitely at the AGM I won't stand again. But have to get to that somehow first
