I've only had them a month or two and don't use many ice cubes. I tried to make some ice today and they've all sprung leaks! I had no idea they'd actually biodegrade in the cupboard - thought they'd have to go off to landfill and be buried and so on before they started to go off. I suppose it serves me right and I should use the proper reusable trays, only they drive me mad because I always spill them on the way to the fridge.
