Had a load of cocktails and came home and bought concert tickets last night I previously decided were too expensive 🤣

Haha! So far mine is limited to unnecessary crap off Amazon but I agree it’s a dangerous game!

MILTOBE · 02/06/2024 14:16

My friend came round once and we had too much to drink. A week later two Race for Life T-shirts arrived in the post. Apparently I'd signed us both up.

PMPBlue · 02/06/2024 14:18

My friend had no recollection of doing any online shopping after a beer festival with live music, until he unpackaged a saxophone 5 days later 😂

PossumintheHouse · 02/06/2024 14:21

I bought a really expensive antique that I'd had my eye on for ages. Woke up the next morning utterly horrified at the spend, but no real regrets. It's beautiful. Pointless, but beautiful. 😂
Also got nostalgic one night and bought a load of Point Horror books on Amazon.

MILTOBE · 02/06/2024 14:25

I meant to add, the T-shirts were two sizes smaller than us - that was another bright idea, as we sat with our pizzas and wine.

BulldogMumma · 02/06/2024 14:32

I've never bought anything really expensive while drunk shopping but I very recently bought teeth whitening strips after some wine x

Goldiedoodling · 02/06/2024 14:35

Art from an “affordable” art fair run by a neighbour, after one too many Aperol spritz. Could have brought lots of needed bits and peaces for the wee ones instead, so they had to go back the next day! Very embarrassing.

Aussiegold · 02/06/2024 14:42

Bought a gold ring off Ebay for a tenner, completely forgot about it until it turned up. Got it valued at 200 quid so drunk me must have seen something no one else did!

Inextremis · 02/06/2024 14:48

10kg of chicken breasts. Which is a lot of chicken breasts (38 to be precise).

MonkeyPuddle · 02/06/2024 14:50

I ordered a memory foam mattress topper off Amazon once when I was drunk. Sober me was quite impressed with drunk me.

goneaway2 · 02/06/2024 14:53

Peanut butter flavoured dog biscuits.

I bought a bouncy castle, gladiator duel podium things with the sticks and a sumo wrestling ring with 2 sumo suits last year when we had had friends over for a barbecue. We had a bouncy castle and the guy we usually use for bouncy castles told us he was moving abroad and wouldn't be available anymore.

He said he was selling up and that it would be cheaper to buy his bouncy castle rather than book with a new person the amount we used him as a joke. And then after he stayed with us for a drink we'd worked out a deal to get them all for £500. He had zorb football things too but we didn't get them which we actually regretted! We just get things out over the summer and even in the winter in dry days when you're stuck in. We could rent them out but haven't got that far yet!

HollywoodTease · 02/06/2024 15:01

I bought a campervan off ebay after a night on the baileys.

7 years later she's still going strong!

Absolutely! Drunk me picked some absolute bangers. Amnesia, The Nightmare Hall Series, Teacher's Pet... High quality stuff.

Doggymummar · 02/06/2024 15:02

I bought a Nissan Figaro off EBAY It was £12k I couldn't afford, luckily they let me off. I also bought a bed for 3k which was EXTRAVAGANT but it was a decade ago and we still have it.

Holy shit. Just how much did you have to drink to buy a fucking car!? 😂

Im.sober but this made me lol

FOJN · 02/06/2024 15:07

Years ago (about 18 I think) I bought an unnecessary amount of lock and lock food storage containers off QVC after a few drinks. I'm still using them. Drunk me clearly had an eye for durability.

TheBunyip · 02/06/2024 15:11

I went to an “artisan” market a few weeks ago and bought a hair clip. £15. I googled to see if the “maker” had other similar ones only to find it on AliExpress for £1.40

so last night after wine I ordered every permutation of it and now I’ve got 14 slightly gaudy hairclips in transit.

HelterSkelter224 · 02/06/2024 15:21

Friend and I drunk-booked flights to Milan (and hotel) and immediately forgot until we got the "time to check in for your flight" email months later. Neither of us could go due to work commitments 🤣🤦‍♀️

DimplesToadfoot · 02/06/2024 15:22

Thankfully nothing worse than a kebab, that I didn't actually eat and woke up with it on the pillow next to me. No idea why I bought the kebab home, I don't generally eat meat.

EveryOtherNameTaken · 02/06/2024 15:25

Placemarking. These are great!

User1979289 · 02/06/2024 15:29

I booked an expensive holiday. No regrets.
