Is this normal?? Following microsuction?

I got my ears microsuctioned because I noticed my hearing was a bit worse and everything felt a bit muffled. No pain or anything, just knew I had a lot of wax and sometimes when I cried I’d notice it as well.

I got them microsuctioned for £50 (didn’t want to wait on the nhs) and there was a LOT of wax. He said both ears were completely blocked.

Felt great afterwards. Fast forward 3 days.. I’m having really bad earache in my left ear which I’ve not had before. It feels really blocked again but on a different way to before - almost as if there’s water in it. When I move my head up and down it feels squelchy.

Do I go back and complain?!

I’d go back and ask them to look in your ear and check you haven’t got an infection. Or ask a GP practice nurse, and I think pharmacists are beginning to do this but it’s all pretty new for them. Infections do happen after wax clearance, I work in the field.
