Another mumsnetter started a thread to complain that nobody is interested in VAT on private school fees. There are far more important things to discuss - like potholes. Unfortunately, some really inconsiderate people posted on her pothole thread about VAT on private school fees.

So here it is: a thread about potholes (not VAT on private school fees). How are the potholes round your way?

Mind you, with the size of some of the holes it'd probably take fewer to fill the Albert Hall nowadays.

I’m a driving instructor. My learners know me as pothole inspector and avoidance coach. If anything should persuade me to stop it’ll be potholes.

I’m in Kent and even town centres have them, let alone the sink holes down the country roads.

Potholes will take this government down, they best start filling.
