That email really did show her mask had slipped and he rubbed it in when he uttered those very wise words

don't write in an email what you don't want read out in court - to which she said pardon...

What I take from this is that Vennells turned a blind eye, was much more concerned about the reputation of the PO and not that justice was served. And is now sorry because she's been caught out.

It has been riveting watching when I should have been doing something else.
