War mongering

Is it just me or do people seem to be obsessed with whipping up speculation about going to war? And some people almost perverted about the thought of it? Is it Twitter or what that's pushing this narrative?

It's nothing to with Twitter 'pushing a narrative'. There's been doom-mongering weirdos out there since the dawn of time.

Some people are just over-dramatic, conspiracy theorising voices of doom who spend far too much time on weird forums talking to paranoid men in America who live in their mum's basements.

The internet is a great thing but also facilitates the utterly deranged to continually reinforce their utter derangement by exposing them to many other utterly deranged folk.

Mumsnet is sometimes a good example of this, you can get almost any view agreed with if there's enough other people to ask

In the style of Alan Partridge OP, you should have put this to a vote

Of all the social media platforms I find x the most derranged. Not just war but chemtrails the princess of wales and most recently the northern lights
