How much time do you spend playing with your child every day ?

I mean engaging actively in- building a tower or drawing something / sticker books together or anything else really?

My kids are 2 and 4.

I ask because we've just come to visit grandma who spends ages playing with them and I noticed just how happy they are and also how balanced they seem ( especially 4 year old ).

So it made me think that maybe I don't do it enough.

@Chaosx3x i can’t tell you the relief I felt at reading your post! I clicked on this thread even though I knew it would probably make me feel rubbish because I never seem to have time to actively play with my kids as I’m so busy facilitating everything! I have 3 under 5 so like you spend time with the reading, puzzles, some board games with the eldest and playdoh but generally am just supervising their play whilst trying to get on with an endless list of jobs. I feel much better about that being ok now, thank you
