She is a sarcastic bitch! And makes mistakes in her job!

...and breath!!

Just been up with dd for a check up on her new baby, and she comes over to us, and says..."Dont you look well" to dd, only being 16 days post c-section.

Then turns to me and says..."She looks better than you do!"

Feck off!

People say her humour is dry, but I just find her rude and sarcastic!

As you were

Rant away Divvy - think she needs some people skills!
Have a nice cup of tea and congrats to your dd

3madboys · 04/04/2008 16:12

hello divvy, that is a most annoying comment to make

are you who i think you are? i have the same name on another site, tho i am now 4madboys as i had ds4 two weeks ago you should know who i am if you are who i think you are?

if not then i apologise for seeming like some random nutter

Divvy · 04/04/2008 16:15

ok this same midwife found the babies heart beat up by dd's belly button, and told dd she was 16 weeks preg!!

Also told her to stop taking folic acid now.

only......

dd was only 6 weeks, and that was not the heart beat she heard! Not at 6 weeks, and not right up there!

and...and....I just dont like her!

I dont fel well, and maybe do look a bit shite today! I dont wear make-up, and dd does.

How am I ment to look good next to a tight skinned 19 year old!

Of course a 19 yr old is going to look better than, er, an older person... What a stupid thing to say. (Presumably meant '...seeing as she's not getting any sleep')

Perhaps she's jealous of your gorgeous dgch.

Some people are lovely, some are a pita. Goes for all types/professions, now we know to include even midwives.

weblette · 04/04/2008 16:41

Hello divvy Stupid moo of a midwife. How you feeling??

Divvy · 04/04/2008 17:05

Chequers - Divvy is one of those lucky enough to be young enough to enjoy being a granny (and be pg herself at the same time!!!)
How great is that. What a close knit family.
(sorry if I sound all gushy, had a glass of vino and feeling very crappy towards my selfish nasty family . . . glad someone else has a gud 'un)

Divvy - tell her to feck off!!! (mw not chequers)

Chrissnow, you got the family situation in one!

Close-nit, not so spot on about!

dd is with a scum-bag, and my children have no grand-parents!

None of us have perfect lives lovely, but I have always sworn to change the cycle with my kids....and I have xx

Divvy - congrats! It's fun having little ones of are your own the same age as grandchildren, isn't it? That's our situation here as well! Makes family get togethers quite lively and confusing. We don't even attempt to sort the whole "who is nephew, who is uncle" scenario!

I got along great with regular midwife, but the other one at the clinic - she drove me mental! I refused to deal with her after she showed up for home check with a "trainee" that she didn't bother to introduce and demanded that I haul out my boobs and breast feed DS on command (after I'd told her I'd JUST fed DS 10 minutes previously) in front of this person that I didn't know from Adam. She apparently wanted to assess how the breastfeeding was going. She could've just asked. I told her to get stuffed and escorted them both to the door. I'm pretty sure she scribbled something about hostile and stressed on my records.

nappyaddict · 05/04/2008 00:12

could you move doctors? that's what i did cos i disliked my mw so much. but then i got a horrible hv so my plan didn't really work out!

horsish · 05/04/2008 00:43

I sympathise.
My midwife poked me in the belly 4 weeks post partum and said 'we 're going to have to do something about THIS!"

I bit my tongue but really wanted to say "you're not exaactly Darcy Bussell yourself"
