Everyone has the right to wear whatever hairstyle and grooming styles they like... but I can't get on board with goatee beards. If they're straggly, they look awful. If they're groomed, very fussy. Often worn to give definition to a round chin when some nice designer stubble would be much more flattering. A bit better on older guys but not good on anyone under 45. I can understand fancying somebody despite their goatee, but does anybody actively think they look great or say that men with goatees are their type? Or think there are men that look hotter with a goatee than without one?
YABU - love a goatee and would actively encourage my partner to grow one. YANBU - I would love the owner of a goatee, but maybe not the goatee.
