For some reason despite having a garage full of tools DH frequently insists he needs the ladle or a spoon or a kitchen knife to do some kind of dirty outdoor job.
I always argue and (unless I'm not here) he usually finds a stick or a tool to scrape out or remove whatever gunk is causing the issue.
